A Message from the Principal

Welcome to Antonio Catholic School.  At Antonio, we genuinely want what’s best for your child, and we want to do this in partnership with you.  As you click your way around our website, I hope you get a feel for what we value at Antonio and what makes us a unique learning community, where positive, successful relationships are at the heart of all that we do.

A great education will certainly involve a passionate commitment to excellence in core learning, of course, but we don’t believe that’s enough. In the 21st century we need to think a lot about the way we interact with others, in our values and attitudes, and about the nature of the school our children attend.  The culture of a school, the classrooms, the school yard, the parents and the staff are all integral to providing a quality environment in which children can be happy and successful.

For our staff, working at Antonio is much more than a job.  We are passionate about teaching and learning and we are deeply committed to the families we serve.  Once you enrol your child here, we trust you are ready to share this passion.

Antonio is a Catholic School. This is a place where we are proudly Catholic in what we do and in the way we connect with each other. Our two thousand year old legacy of faith and history informs the way we think. We pray. We cry. We laugh. We make mistakes and we forgive each other. We reconcile and we start again. 

Of course, many of our families do not have a previous connection to the Catholic Church, and we welcome families from other faith traditions.  We have a rich multi-cultural tradition and celebrate the diversity within our community.
